I am a passionate multi disciplinary designer with a keen interest in storytelling and semiotics. As a global citizen, raised in Mumbai and having lived and worked in Paris, London and Tel aviv, I bring a unique perspective and cultural competency to my work. I am particularly interested in projects that are shaped by research. My personal work tends to explore the relationship between imagery and words.

In 2020, I graduated with my MA from UCA, London. It is during my masters degree that I discovered my passion for research driven projects and the part they play in visual outcomes. Since then I have taken on many endeavours such as The Symbol Symposium 2022, to continue my work in design research alongside my practical day to day design journey.

I have known Elianna since she completed her MA in Graphic design at UCA Epsom in 2020 where she achieved a well-deserved distinction for her excellent work. I have been extremely impressed by her creativity, diligence, organizational skills, and total commitment to produce the best possible design solutions. She successfully built on her first academic degree to become a unique designer with a deep understanding of semantics and semiotics.

I have observed Elianna’s sharp intellect and inquisitive nature. She fully realizes the importance of research and analysis in both an empirical and an academic sense. She is a highly motivated, independent, original thinker. Her continued high grades throughout the course ably demonstrated this, along with the meaningful and imaginative solutions she presented for assignments. Her major project combined her exploration of semantics and expertise in photography to produce a game design and workshop to support mental health. The ambition, understanding and sensitivity which she displayed in her design solution very successfully demonstrated the creativity, rigour, academic ability and depth of research and investigation that Elianna applies in all her work.

Elianna is an excellent organizer and team player, as can be demonstrated by her involvement in the 2020 ‘The Time in Now’ MA show concept, publicity material, website and catalogue.

I would strongly recommend her as someone who would be an excellent addition to any design studio. She is determined, organized, reliable, professional, hard-working, and highly personable. I wish her every success in her future ventures.
