CREATIVE MARKETING DESIGN
Brand Overview
MyHeritage is a leading global platform for genealogy and family history discovery, empowering millions of users to explore their roots, build detailed family trees, and uncover insights about their ancestry through historical records and DNA testing. Founded in 2003, the brand combines cutting-edge technology with an emotionally meaningful experience, enabling users to connect their past, present, and future.
Role and Contribution
For over three years, I contributed to MyHeritage’s marketing efforts, focusing primarily on visual communication and campaign design across multiple seasonal, thematic, and product-driven initiatives. My responsibilities included:
-
Print & Digital Communications: Designed a wide range of print and digital banners for use across the MyHeritage website, social media, and advertising platforms, alongside print materials such as brochures and branded merchandise.
-
Webinar Promotion: Crafted promotional banners and visual assets tailored to MyHeritage educational webinars. These designs helped drive engagement for live and on-demand sessions, spotlighting expert talks on genealogy research, DNA insights, and platform tutorials.
-
Product-Focused Visuals: Many of the visual campaigns centered around MyHeritage’s different product offerings. These designs often pulled from brand assets and messaging to reinforce the joy and discovery inherent to MyHeritage’s mission
-
Brand & Product Pitch Decks: Designed strategic, brand-aligned presentation systems to support marketing, sales, and stakeholder communication.

Old News Promotional Piece

To launch OldNews, MyHeritage’s new platform for exploring historical newspapers, the brand introduced the product through a printed “fake” newspaper distributed at the RootsTech genealogy conference.
With a tight deadline, our team quickly assessed the brief and collaborated closely with MyHeritage’s marketing team. led the design of the newspaper, researching vintage publications and historical advertisements to craft a visual language and tone that reflected the OldNews brand while staying true to period aesthetics. The final piece was a distinctive promotional asset that demonstrated the impact of thoughtful, targeted marketing.
